MCM regularly imports substantial quantities of high standard hardwoods from the best growing areas of Eastern Europe. Our quality selection is always based on two fundamental requirements: fine texture and mild grain.
Our specialty is beech wood and oak wood. European beech wood can be considered one of the most important hardwood species in Europe, but the Bosnian beech wood, with its fine texture and mild grain, is worldwide famous, excellent for machining, resistance to nail and finishing.
Bosnia and Serbia are traditionally export-oriented production areas for square edged beech, Croatia is one of the best oak growing areas.
MCM is present there since 1959.
